b2ePMS stands for Browser to Email Phone Message System. It is intended to replace the standard paper/carbon phone message slips commonly used in offices, with the capability of sending the message via a web browser form directly to the recipients inbox.
Check the b2ePMS Project Page for additional information and releases.
b2ePMS v1.0 is finished. You can download b2ePMS-1.0 from the Project Filelist page.
Big day is finally here. I have finally fixed a problem I was having getting multiple message recipients to work. It would show that the message was sent fine, when in reality, no email address was picked up. Since that is now working, I will be releasing v1.0 today or tomorrow.
I have finally placed my files in CVS. The code is somewhat hairy looking right now :-), but it is working. I had some real troubles getting things to render right in both Firefox and Internet Explorer and still maintain XHTML 1.0 STRICT compliance. When I tried the new code out at the office on Internet Explorer things were a mess. But it all appears to be straightened out. Please download the code and give it a try. I will probably do a full release later today or tomorrow, when I wake up.
I am currently going through all of the code and confirming/fixing to meet XHTML 1.0 STRICT compliance. I figure this to take me another week or so, and I will be able to place my files in CVS and to have an initial release.
b2ePMS is currently in the development stage. I have a working copy that I created for use at my office. But, the only way to modify anything within the system is to manually modify multiple files. This is fine for our small office and the system works perfectly. However, in my opinion this is not acceptable for a release. I have already put the finishing touches on the Installation portion and I am currently working on the Administration area (this is the final piece in order to release). Hopefully, this will be ready in about a week or two.
